Je pense à Dream Theater, je pense à Adagio - surtout celui de "Underworld", et je pense à Vanden Plas. En tout cas, de la belle ouvrage. Seventh Dimension, c'est d'abord des claviers éblouissants, des mélodies solides, un chant aux inflexions intéressantes- la basse, je trouve, ne s'entend pas assez et la frappe de batterie manque de punch. Mais cela reste très solide ! La bonne surprise sur cet album, c'est quelques interventions féminines au chant.

A very pleasant album. Like other comments said, if you like the first Camel album (Moonmadness for exemple), you have to listen at this one. calm, relaxing are the first words that come to me You can listen from the start to the end: it’s like a journey…. in the space!

Immensely rich album, maybe rooted in progressive metal (a tag the band themselves chose), but there's so much more to discover in this 60 plus minutes (including an orchestra and a choir). In fact, beneath all these layers (e.g. the vocal arrangements!), the prog-metallic ingredients (the drumming, the guitars) don't lead to a prog-metallic impression overall. The Advocate makes for a good example for their approach and can only be called majestic :-)
